Omg this is already looking amazing. One heartfelt plea... Could you do audio clip recording and playback in this page too? Having functionality like Ableton Push3 / Akai Force in my Deluge is my dream for years. Being able to collect quant…

I fully support OP suggestion (and I think the reply above is mistaken, this is different to multisamples unless you're using multisamples in some very weird way to sort of force a hidden kit into synth sample instruments).
-
This would be amazing, a real shortcut to brilliant synth sounds. Internal synth sounds are the only thing that slightly holds the deluge back in my view. They're fine etc but MI would be amazing.
-
Great idea, especially with arpeggiator!
-
This would be magical. I love my Norns but I use my Deluge more because it's portable, and one single unit with battery. I hate making music at desks!
-
Surprised not to see more queue chat! Is everyone here just Very Patient? No criticism of anyone, great that Synthstrom are doing upgrades, just wondering.... am I, like, the last person to get called up from UK Wave One?

The house waits waits waits

Delighted to get in round one. Can't wait to get faster sample browsing, my dream! But Dear God I'm an impatient person.

I've had a fair few crashes since fw 4, that said I got new Euclidean which I never expected. If the crashes got annoying I'd roll back to the brilliant fw3 that I bought it for. Sorry if that sounds sanctimonious and crashes are frustrating but I d…

There's also rec+play to resample what's playing and import to new song as wav. Not right for every setting but handy mobility.
-
Oh weird. Is there a reason why, do we know? I mean, is it an oversight or is there a deeper reason that means it'll never be done? Also, it would be good to know if there's a list of mappable and non mappable things, it was a bit surprising (no …

Nice idea to have a gooseneck lamp tho. I really need my reading glasses for the tiny letters on the panel.
-
I'd sooner use a clip on battery powered lamp to avoid straining the socket and keep cable free.
-
The select knob in clip mode functions as a browser, just with the folders missing. Anyway, hopefully I'll remember and hopefully not too many other people are confused, maybe I'm the only one.
-
I don't think there's any less confusion, when browsing sounds in the context after clicking load+synth, about what's a folder and what's not? They just appear in the list? When landing on a folder name in clip mode the device could just leave the s…

Thanks but I'm not talking about pressing the select knob. In clip view, the led display has instrument number, and rotating the select knob (no pressing) scrolls through instruments, but oddly it misses out the folders. When you do load+synth, the …

Looks like yes to "additional services" and replacing encoders etc. Great, thanks.
-
Great stuff, good system. Do we know if UK partner will also be able to do minor repairs (keypad replace) and indeed the standard refurbs?
-
I think it's the 16th in NZ now?
-
Hey great, I'm in.
-
I only mention because it feels much easier than lots of other feature requests!
-
I know feature requests are uncool but I would really love it if keyboard mode did scales like Launchpad Push MPC mc101 etc, with only the notes from the scale appearing. Be great if keyboard mode worked with kits too, to play drums live with more t…
-
Yes but I'd have to perfectly and manually match the scale on the launchpad to the scale on the deluge to be able to work fluidly with a scale mode matrix, where you can see an octave rather than eight semitones in chromatic. I guess I could play on…

And works for any parameter obvs. Cheers!
-
That's perfect thank you! Did I blink and miss that somewhere in the manual? It's great!
-
i pile ideas into the machine, and save them as auto-numbered songs by just quickly pressing save then switching off. when i turn it on again i want to have the most recent things i did easily accessible. at the moment those are trapped between hund…
-
Oh, so if I change the names of the ones I want to join that order to SONG286.h or whatever that will work? They'll fillet into that order? It's just annoying, when I switch on I almost always want to go to the most recent song I was working on, …

Did they make it appear in sequence with the others? Another q for gurus... Can I rename projects safely on the SD card or does weirdness ensue?
-
The quest for the perfect all in one box may never end. MPC is too bland, Force is the size of a car, Octatrack is too mad, Deluge is... brilliant for composition but will always be incomplete for production. I sometimes wonder if 1010 Blackbox i…
