Loading synth patches into a kit has been on my wish list for a long time. This is a powerful feature for live performance to have the drum and bass sequences on the same page. A million thanks to everybody who worked on this update.

This is major! Thanks, guys!

The pins come out of the back of the MIDI jacks and fold down to pass through the circuit board. There is plenty of exposure on the legs to work with and it can all be done with the battery replacement level tear down.

Great track. Love it!

Bravo!

Yep.

The reverb needs a pre-delay.

You are my hero, iFreilicht. I'm excited to see how this project goes. Might I suggest the Klarus 18GT-36 as a good candidate for your 18650's. They are rated at 3600mAh and have top-notch protection circuitry.

Love it! Nice job, rotx!

When I upgraded to a 32g card, I bought 2 identical cards. One of them gives me problems when I try to write to it, the other works flawlessly. IMO, the card is more temperamental than the reader.

"Go to global menu and put the rev 2 into slave no s/s mode. This should solve the problem." https://forum.davesmithinstruments.com/index.php/topic,2271.0.html

Maybe something like a choke feature in the track view. That plus probabilities on your fill track would be super useful in live play. A nice merger of new and old.

Nice work!

Congrats on your new forum section, Jamie! Cheers!

I got my card today!. Only took 9 days from Hong Kong to California. It's gonna be about a week before I can mess with it though. erg.

Good ones. +sample end point too!
-
Good suggestion! It could even be done to where you select the sample as normal which injects it into the beat but the screen doesn't change so you can continue previewing samples if you want.

Why not just get a hand-held field recorder? Most mics are going to require some kind of preamp and a decent field recorder could be had for what it would cost you to put together a battery-powered preamp and a pair of stereo condenser mics and all.…

I struggle in this area too. I mostly would like to see visual feedback of what key my parts are transposed to.
-
It would be nice to solo a Kit part too.
-
The single-cycle waveform approach...not bad. I'm sure that some interesting results can be had this way but it will be a far cry from the glorious organic pads and atmospheres that can be had with algorithms.

Every member of the closed FB group owns a Deluge. I hope it stays that way.
-
A KIT of Song sections in other words.
-
This firmware is a beast!
-
They got quiet around shipping time on the first batch. I'm sure that they are totally focused on getting everybody's units out to them.
-
I was in your camp, rpc9943 until I started composing within kit tracks. What I am proposing would serve all of the functions that you suggested but also add a third dimension to arranging song sections as well as merging 2 areas of the Deluge onto …

Implement song sections available as kit parts. Song mode done...with no affect on existing work!
-
The Deluge can definitely play many samples at the same time. When what you describe happens to me it is because I added the note when I was zoomed out. How many bars long is your arp sample?
-
That is exactly how I had 'imagined' that the deluge's song mode would function. However I figured that the deluge could automatically populate the audition pads with the song section colors so that the song could be keyed in very quickly with a sel…
