Yes, the sequencer of the Deluge should be much more flexible. Great ideas here!
-
Agree, chord mode would be nice.
-
Miss that always a lot when I need to time-correct chords. If there is a ie 6 note chord, it’s a lot of confusing work to move ot to another step!
-
It’s sad that it a few people here are thinking that others need to defend theirselves, just because they like to see a specific feature (which has a huge demand in this community). It’s Ok if this few people can’t see the advantage of the ability o…

@MPrinsen said: With the new AKAI Pro Force, I think this would be an even more important feature for the Deluge in order to not lose potential buyers. That now would be a clever step from Rohan, yes. The funny thing is, that the Deluge c…

Yeah, unfortunately it’s Akai, not the most trustful company in terms of cultivating their software. On the other hand I’ve got the feeling that Akai finally woke up and changed many things. Since the release of MPC Live (1,5 years ago) there has b…

Yeah I know that we can use MIDI controllers, of course. But this never could be the same intuitive handling. One reason: Deluge has no LED feedback, so „controlling“ all tracks and all clips would be like flying blind. You never know what’s current…

I don’t agree with you, amiga. A classic clip lauch view (like on Ableton or other sequencers) is still my biggest wish for the Deluge. The arranger is absolutely no alternative for this purpose. And set markers wouldn’t help either. I assume you ne…

And of course, if Link could be implemented Deluge would stay fully independent to the outerworld. It would be just more tight if you want to use with other stuff.
-
cypher, Link is not Ableton only. Ableton is just the manufacturer who developed it and afaik the code is free to use for everone. If I‘m looking at iOS apps (there are a lot of great ones f.e. from Korg, Moog, Arturia, Reason, Novation, Steinberg, …

@MPrinsen said: I have the same feelings. Would love to see an ableton style clip launching mode to be implemented in the Deluge though. Then I don't need the APC! Yes, of course I would love to see that in the Deluge, too. Would be a gam…

@ Ian_Jorgensen: Ok, but where I can find the feature list, which includes this request? Or from which place lcoustik got this informations?
-
@Icoustik said: Will be in 2.1 As far as I know there’s still no 2.1 beta... so I’m wondering: why are you sure about this (and other things)?
-
Yes, it’s strange because this feature has been implemented in firmware 2.0 - but just in arrangement mode!? Why not in song mode, too? It would be logically and self-evident to have a uniform behaviour, for a better workflow and overview.
-
Still thinking that this would increase the workflow drastically.

@Myrk said: +1 I find the deluges value systems to be completely nonsensical... in particular the arpeggiators "rate" control. And the fact that it keeps flicking between 0-50, and 127, etc... it's really quite confusing and has no basis within t…

Just thinking loud: When version 2.0 was released, maybe some people expected a very “polished“ firmware update, because it was a huge step from 1.4 to 2.0 (number-wise)? That’s maybe why they get a little bit disappointed, when they saw that there …

NRPN would be very helpful for many hardware synths,
-
So true!
-
I don’t know. But I‘m also very interested in downloading your stuff. Danke.
-
I‘m curious because you wrote that you like the current song view, too. Why exactly? Honestly I currently just can see disadvantages (very bad overall overview). If it is track length (though in my case I don’t need to see them always, I trust my ea…

+1 - and please recording automations of track mutes!
-
I like the idea. Though I also love the idea that the 16 button are for playing fixed chords (maybe also learnable). So, I would say the 16 buttons should be switchable between velocity and chords - or a 8 buttons velocity, 8 buttons chords compromi…
-
still +1
-
Yes, it would make much more sense to see 16 tracks at once and 8 clips per track - 128 clip variations in total!! Currently we just can see 8 track OR 8 variations. Seems to be a no brainer to me.
-
+1 the best/most logically would be if a single note (+event) could be nudged by the </> knob.. though then the velocity parameter need to be somewhere else (the </> knob for velocity isn’t logically anyways).
-
No, your release option wouldn’t be a solution. This doesn’t replace a simple audio thrugh behavior, because you still need to have a fake track in your song to manipulate the release of the signal. When it comes to arrange some patterns for a so…

Any chance that this will be fixed?
-
+1 for a simple audio through function.
