@reza said: hey @Joange, beta for firmware v4.0 (renamed from 3.2) has been going on since december. i can't speak about when exactly it will be ready for public release, but i feel like a month or two is a decent expectation to expect! you can s…

Hi everybody, just checking in about the new firmware. Everything alright?
-
@PixelKicker @volsteh thank you guys for your support I guess it's alright. I posted it here because of the setup, my personal situation was more of a nihilistic joke. Looking forward for the new update and leave everything but the Deluge behind…

Hi @HoosierGuy Sadly, I had to pack my studio and everything is still boxed. I just kept the Deluge and a couple of synths around. But from what I recall, configuring the mc6 to send note on messages works for most of the stuff you'd want to do, a…

That's a bit of a let-down, but thank you mister!!

Oh, I didn't get it right from the manual! Many thanks!!!

A couple of freezes. Now, while layering, it just freeze on the song view, record and play buttons lit, still receiving play/stop orders from the controller AND Deluge buttons, sound coming, but pads and cursor unresponsive. I may have been a bit ca…

What I'm discovering now is that what works with Deluge is sending Note On messages with full velocity and a different number for each pad you want to assign. So basically I could have 128 different assignations. The global commands seem to work thi…

It happened to me today, without the protect lock. just resampling some synths, one clip multisampled and a few effects. decided to format the sd and start over (i had just made a backup). Now everything is fine, but it was quite a let down! Luckil…

@Heptagen said: The solution I use is more versatile: Get a mobile recorder with xlr and phantom power (like a tascam dr-40x or one of the famous zooms). I use a Tascam DR100 MK2. I connect the mic via xlr with the recorder, then headphone out to…

@percussijan said: The Fet Head is the most portable solution, I think. But it needs 24v/48v phantom power to work. So for direct connection with the Deluge you´ll need something to power it. To keep it small and portable 2 devices come to mind: …

@percussijan said: Hey Joange, the Fet Heads definitely work with more or less good results, depending on the mic used. Generally I would prefer decent preamps, though... For direct connection with the Deluge without any extra preamplification I …

Awesome, thanks! I was creating the new row using aud+kit. Would be nice to be able to copy-paste the sounds, so tweaking an open/closed hat would be a matter of seconds. Just dreamin'!

@Too_Mere said: Hi, just tried recreating this but I’m not seeing any difference at 2nd note resolution. Except it goes by slower. Is there anything else specific going on to cause this? I suspect it has to do with the waveform amplit…

@Too_Mere said: No problem! Let me know if it happens again. Yes, atm separate channels are necessary for different midi devices. Thanks again how do I generate a bug report file, by the way?

Thank you @Too_Mere !! I will keep an eye on it and see if I can reproduce the error. I am on 3.1.5 indeed. I just switched off and on again, and it seems to work well atm. (solved) On a side note, having the Akai LPD8 via USB midi and a Keystep …

It happened to me as well, I think it can't trigger twice the same note sample. As the note is in the chord, it won't sound when played. It's like if you had a real piano and you "can't" play the same key with two fingers, or at the same time (altho…

Wow, this hacking project is amazing! How did it end? Were you able to overcome all the difficulties? 😊
-
Just wondering, then you couldn't make use of the 'record' button functions, like looping, because hitting it would stop the recording of the session. Right? I have yet to try it, but that's what I'm guessing

I just realized there's the "browse" button for sample 2 (2nd column, 3rd row). silly me!!

thank you for this amazing upload! it does sound great it seems that loading these presets slows my Deluge (once loaded, there's a 1-second gap between the push of a button or a pad and the Del responding). Is it just me, or has anybody found the…
