+++1 on Greg's ideas. Rohan, maybe you could add a dope live "waveform" or RTA / levels graphic when the user is in song mode? That way I'm focused on the hypnotic audio output and sick beat that my Deluge is playing.... or at least shows my leve…

@oneANT Thanks for sharing that link / path again. If the website is working as intended (login is only for admin) then what I encountered was a reasonable UX / usability problem. * I went to the website looking for an update on "retrofit". * …

This is still a problem. I can't see any information about the retrofit unless I have an account... but there is no place to create an account and none of the Forum credentials work...

True dat.

I use a Kenton midi through splitter. It never drops notes and I run sequencing for 15 midi channels through it. Avoid midi through chains if possible. Kenton midi through is pricy but worth it.

This answer is probably late… Cc parameters are just numbers you assign to the parameter knobs / parameters options on the Deluge. Look for the exact CC values in the documentation of the hardware you’re trying to control. I set up midi clips in t…

When things like this happen, I use a Midi monitor tool to see what midi signals are being transmitted (assuming you have midi running through a computer or can run a midi signal through a computer). I have a Mio iConnect 5pin to usb that helps me …

So I had the glitch happen again and I tried loading the song like you suggested, but the glitch persisted until I cycled power.
-
Ok. I'll try those suggestions.

I also just confirmed that is how it works in 3.1.5 ... Where do I drop feature requests?
-
I don’t have any experience with those devices… but I did just buy a Midi Fighter Twister to use with my system. I wanted more surface control for midi controls without having to menu dive into the deluge. I got mine up and running with a Kenton US…

Can you be more specific about your setup and what direction you’re trying to send MIDI? You may need a MIDI merge tool. I have a Midi Fighter twist and that sends out midi info on specific channels that the Deluge is also controlling. The Kenton US…

This is still happening in V4

I've posted a video here. Hopefully it makes sense. As you listen to it, note the particular rhythm in this phrase. I point with my finger in the video where it glitches. Oddly enough, it doesn't glitch in the same spot. In the quarter note view (16…

I'll record it the next time it happens - so you can compare both versions of the song (correct vs. incorrect playback). I do have a MIDI out hooked up - D is the brain to a big euro rack setup. And YES, the playhead skips/glitches. I'm not experien…

We really need this feature. Global swing isn't that useful. With multiple tracks and instruments, it makes sense that swing can be applied to individual kits / synths / cv.

@Icoustik It worked! I'm up and running with a 16-core oscillator playing chords!
-
Icoustik - Apparently the Demon Core Expander can be assigned a MIDI channel - or rather it has a configure mode where it will assign itself a MIDI channel. I assume I just make sure both the D and the expander module have the same MIDI channel and …

BTW - I just sent the DCE manufacturer a few questions. I'm starting to doubt if this will work. I suspect I have to "direct line" a midi TRS from a keyboard into the expander in order for it to work. I'm not sure if / how the DCE can be assigned a …

Thanks! Here's my setup. D -> Midi Out (5 pin) -> Kenton 12 channel Midi splitter (5 pin) -> 5 pin Midi to 3.5 TRS (adapter) -> Demon Core Expander (eurorack module). I haven't purchased the DCE yet - it depends on whether or not this …

Actually I didn't figure it out... ugh. I think I found a bug. So it's possible to add more space at the beginning of a song in arranger view. And if you hold down the first track key and then rotate the H scroll knob, the track will move to the rig…

NM - Figured it out. Hold Shift + H Scroll and it will create more space.

I just hooked up my Novation Circuit Mono Station (via midi) to my Deluge... it took me 15 minutes to map everything (cutoff, ADSR, etc.)... I would love this feature! I guess the only way to do this effectively for now is to create a "blank" song t…
