Hi @jman81! Unfortunately it's not possible to assign MIDI CCs to 'affect entire' parameters at the moment. However, there's a workaround for this, where you can assign the individual volumes of each sound/row in your kit to the same CC. This should…

Hey @darenager! Cool idea! Just for future reference - feature requests like this are better posted in the software suggestions part of the forum, here: http://forums.synthstrom.com/categories/deluge-suggestions We look at this part of the forum …

Hi @Olfsound! You should be able to stop this behavior by turning the gold knob labelled 'depth' down to 0. First make sure you're dealing with the effect you want to turn off by pressing down on the top gold knob (the one titled 'mod rate') until i…

Hi @heldrida. Sorry it's taken me a while to get to this! In terms of the metronome, it starts counting from the moment you press play - at the moment there's no official "count-in" feature. That said, many users fashion their own 'DIY' metronomes …

Hi @o0_! There's not currently a shortcut for this, but there is one for doubling a track's length (shift + ◄►) - so you could potentially use this as a work around by doubling the track until it's, say, 16 bars long (one bar per pad/column) and th…
-
Hi @chvad! The quick way to add a whole lot of bars is to hold shift + ◄► - if you're at the furthest zoom level, it doubles the track length (if you're not at the furthest zoom level, it zooms you out to it). If you use this key combo a few times y…

Ah, sorry, that could have been clearer. In version 1.4 of the firmware it was limited to 16 CCs, but in version 2.0 this has been updated to 120 CCs, which is the max number supported in the MIDI standard.
-
Hi @Holiday! Yeah, as this is the output sample rate/bit depth, everything that comes out of the Deluge's audio output is at this rate/depth - this includes the built-in synths, as well as samples
-
Hi @Der_Ju! Do you have the gate outputs set to 5V and the PPQN set to 2? (If you don't know what there are/how to change these let me know by tagging me with the "@" symbol and I can what they mean and how to change them ) I'm not sure exactly …
-
Just jumping in here to clarify - it's just currently one bus, but you can adjust the amount each sound sends to it using the shortcuts, or in the sound editor of the sound that you want to send to it
-
Hi @mcpepe! As mentioned, the Deluge uses a LiON battery. There's a little bit of debate around the best way to charge these batteries - some people argue that it's best to not charge them to full, while other's think differently. I would suggest do…
-
Hi @Magi! You can send from any CC between 0-119 on each channel
-
Hi @MPrinsen! Just to confirm, the Deluge is class compliant but, while it can be powered through USB, it's unable to supply power to anything connected to it. Hope that clears any confusion up
-
Hi @Stromer! It's fairly unlikely that this is an SD card issue. Have you tried this with the 2.0beta firmware available on the beta testering facebook page? There's been a number of optimizations to the code that could potentially fix this issue. I…
-
Hi @elemental! To answer your questions: 1) Yes - it's possible to set each track to loop at different lengths. 2) Delay works per track (in synths) and per kit row (in kits), with an extra, global delay that can be applied to the whole track.…

@jbone1313 Sorry! I didn't really describe the feature properly! Velocity for note creation and auditioning now defaults to that of the last sequence-note touched (per instrument). So if you wanted a default of 127, simply set the first note to 127 …
-
Hi @pirxthepilot and @MatthewGeorge! You might be excited to find out that setting velocities for multiple notes is available in the latest beta and will be coming in the official 2.0 release. btw, @rdorsche, just scroll up to the top bar and cli…
-
Hi @rdorsche! There's no way to do this automatically at the moment, but you're welcome to post/upvote this suggestion on the firmware suggestions section of the forum, which can be found here: http://forums.synthstrom.com/categories/deluge-suggesti…

Hi @pfrf! @dest4b's list answered a lot - I'm just jumping in to answer number 5: the upper limit is 32bit, 96k
-
@Wolf_Gang No problem! At the moment the best way would be to estimate the amount of bars based on either the number of bars in the DAW you're exporting the stems from (assuming you're matching the tempo), or using the coloured pads in the kit row i…
-
Hi @MPrinsen! Just a note that recording CCs straight from a MIDI input has now been implemented in the 2.0 firmware that's just been released as a beta
-
Hi @Wolf_Gang! Try starting a new kit (shift+kit), adding a stem into the first sample slot, making sure it's set to cut. Now extend the track length to the number of bars your stem will take up (shift + ◄►) and zoom all the way out (press and turn …

Hi @flip! Generally, the firmware updates are designed to be backwards compatible with the shortcuts. There's no way to 100% guarantee this, but the shortcuts were also designed with the intention of being compatible with future updates, so there wo…
-
Hi @Cosmo! As @minigoat was saying, you can assign each track parameter to MIDI CC control, but you do need to learn them first. This just means going into each track you want to control, navigating to the volume parameter (you can use the shortcuts…
-
Hi @TallGuy! Just going to confirm that yes, it does come with an 16GB SD card included. The specs for the current cards can be found here: http://www.adata.com/us/specification/208

Thanks for the feedback @duncandisorderly. We'll take that on board! Glad you got it working in the end
-
Hi @n00b! Glad that it worked for you Just dropping in to mention that CUSTUM isn't a standard folder that the Deluge ships with, so it's likely that it's the previous owner creating a space to store their own samples separately from the ones it sh…

@DVB Just to provide an update here: While the limit at the moment is 12, in the new update this will be unlimited. So you'll be able assign external control to as many of these features as you like
