Hey all, Grayson again (I make Kit Maker and Preset Maker). Coming back to this thread since a lot has changed, and a few of you reported things above that are fixed now.

Kit Maker 3 is out. It's a whole new version, and Deluge kits got a lot better:

• Installed Maschine Expansions are detected and listed, and their drum kits are rebuilt from the original kit files, so kits are more accurate and you get more of them
• For regular sample packs, the categorization and sorting processes are much much smarter. This is a huge improvement.
• The Sample Pack importer lists your packs (Splice, MPC Expansions and more) so you can import one in a click
• Theres a tab for importing Samples from Mars kits, which are made and labeled after the originals.
• MPC Expansions can also be converted, including all banks
• You can set up your own pad layout: change any pad's category, customize all the categories
• If you use other gear, the same packs can be made into kits for MPC, MPC Sample, Ableton, FL Studio, Logic, Koala, OP-XY and more

On the Preset Maker side, 1.3 is out and it's a free update for owners. @deadwing @elermo loop points are working now as you requested: if the WAVs have loop markers, or the pack's .sfz files defined loops, the Deluge presets now use them. The pitch issue from earlier in the thread is fixed too, one-shot presets now come out at the right pitch (checked on hardware). I wanted to get this fix out earlier but ended up overhauling Preset Maker quite a bit and adding a lot more

There's a lot more new in 1.3: it also got a Sample Pack importer that lists your Maschine and MPC Expansions, it reads a pack's own .sfz and MPC keygroup files for the mapping. The importer tells you how many instrument presets each pack will create.

This is a great idea but I wonder how about preset copyright.

Kit Maker takes the samples from the NI Maschine Expansion, and turns them into kit presets for the Deluge. They are labeled and organized for you, which would be a ton of work to do on your own.

No issues with copyright. Native Instruments themselves have promoted Kit Maker on their blog
