  • Shimmer Delay / Reverb

Delay and/or Reverb options where part of the feedback is pitched one octave up to get a really nice shimmer effect for making incredible pads and atmospheres. I'm guessing this is easier to do for the delay, but for the reverb it would be most appreciated for me.

  • "Affect All" Parameters mappable to MIDI

As much as I love the golden knobs for tweaking sounds quickly, I noticed that quick sweeps tend to not register properly. Also, when I want to affect multiple sounds at the same time, using an external MIDI controller is the easiest route. So being able to map anything to a MIDI message would be really nice. But you cannot map "Affect All" parameters to MIDI sources.

So no global cutoff sweep over MIDI, no fading out an entire kit at once over MIDI, no quick delay tweaking for the entire song over MIDI.

I'd love to see this changed. Perhaps a good way of mapping these parameters would be to press and hold [affect all] and press the pad of the parameter you'd like to map. Then the pad starts blinking along with affect all button (to show the global nature of the parameter). Then you can proceed to map this parameter to any MIDI message as you would normally.

  • Audition pads showing played notes

Whenever a note is played, the corresponding audition pad should flash/light up. This would help me greatly in figuring out which notes are played when these notes are not in view or when these are triggered over MIDI. This way I don't have to scroll through bars to see a chord progression, I can just see it get played on the audition pads.

I am not quite sure how you would show MIDI notes that are played outside of the current scale view, but perhaps a different color on the closest note could work here. In song or arrangement view, having the audition pads light up when notes are played in a track would also add to the visual spectacle, but can also help in seeing which parts are playing what. Might get a little too stroboscope for lots of fast notes. Either way I'd love to see this added at some point

  • Played notes visible on the audition pads and keyboard view

I'd love to be able to have some feedback on which notes are already being played in a sequence when trying to overdub or figure out additional lines. White notes (or another color) on the audition pad when in track view or on the note when in keyboard view would be a solution.

  • Deluge firmware V2.0.3 released

Guys the steady firmware updates really are impressive and make me really exited for my Deluge! Great work!

  • Velocity sensitivity scaling along with instrument volume.

Right now the master volume of all synth tracks (haven't checked kits, but suspect the same) are 100% linked to the velocity of incoming MIDI signals, even when the instrument's volume was turned all the way down. This results in notes jumping way out of the mix when playing them through a MIDI keyboard. A solution to this would be to scale the impact of velocity along with the volume of the track or have them be separate measures entirely (using velocity for differences between individual notes and linking that other parameters such as cutoff of FM feedback) and volume of a track for gain staging instruments in your mix.

  • Chamber Music + Deluge + Eurorack

Really cool stuff! This is actually the first time where I would say the straight rhythm of the Deluge does not suit the musicians all that well, did you consider changing tempo along with the musicians to suit their playing?

Hahaha well said, but to be fair, I think the team is doing a pretty decent job. They issued a clear response within a day.
