Grid mode clarification
so I understand downward columns in grid mode are great for creating variations, but is there a way to at some point 'interrupt' the column and start with a new instrument on a column? like say you have 6 variations on your drum pattern with the same kit on column 1 and you maybe on the 8th row down now want to have a completely new drum instrument for a new part of the song.. is this possible? I cant imagine I would even need how ever many column spots downwards there are of variations for one kit or synth sound.
