  • Delay times please include dotted variants

Is it possible to include dotted times for synced delays (eg dotted 8th notes, dotted 16th notes). Stuff like 3/8's would also be great.

You could show it on the display by lighting up the dot after 8th, for example

  • Deluge Presets

    Howdy from Downunder.

I've started releasing my Deluge presets for free over at https://forums.godlike.com.au/index.php?action=downloads;cat=8

You'll need to be a forum member (don't worry it's free and we don't spam you) to download them. With every sound we have a documentation sheet so you know what all the modulations and what the gold knobs are assigned to.

I'll look at releasing my documentation tool in the future. I still have some tweaks to do.

People are welcome to upload presets, kits, songs and samples here, and can earn extra download credits. We use credits to control our bandwidth, in case anyone asks.

    Enjoy

  • Deluge Presets

I've started uploading these to Patch Storage as well

    https://patchstorage.com/platform/synthstrom-deluge/

I'll try to get them all up over the next week or so.

  • how to organize tracks

    I do something similar.

I move all my external MIDI clips to the top when I'm finished with all the resampling (during construction, I have the MIDI track at the top of the instrument group, with the audio resampling below it). I make sure they are all off before saving. Triggering them during a performance can be problematic.

    Then a blank track

Drums at the top. I colour them red, and orange for variations

Each instrument set is then coloured in groups below starting with the main elements - bass, chords, leads
I will have 3 or 4 tracks of variations. These will either be sampled from external instruments, or built on the deluge.

Blue for bass, purple for chords, green for leads

I have effect type sounds below the main rhythmic bits. Normally just single tracks. I use yellows and oranges for these.

Then any oneshot vocal samples at the bottom - random colours
