step to next/previous track in track editor mode w/o going back to song
When I look over a song from my past, I dive into each track, then go back to song mode, dive into the next track, and so on. Is there (or could there be) a way to step forward or backward through the tracks in the track editor without the back and forth?

New Downrush with Midian
Midian added to Downrush. Now it is easy to import Midi!
https://github.com/jamiefaye/downrush/releases/tag/1.0.2b17
Download the .zip file and unpack it. You will see a directory named "distribution".
Copy the DR directory from the distribution directory over onto the FlashAir card replacing any existing DR directory.
If this is the first time, also copy over the SD_WLAN directory to the root level of the FlashAir card.
If you have issues, please email jamie@fentonia.com and include a copy of the SONG, KIT, or SYNTH file that was causing troubles. Also please describe the computer and browser program involved. -
Next thing - Kit Editor
The next thing I am planning to work on is to add "Kit Editing" to the score viewer. It would let you change the contents of a kit standing alone or embedded in a song. After that we connect Waverly and concoct a way to designate sample-splits.
I am putting off synth parameter editing until we can come up with a way to make it work in real-time.

How to get Downrush and the XML viewer
I created a github repository for the Deluge FlashAir project which I call downrush. Putting these files on a FlashAir SD card and placing the card into the Deluge creates a tiny web server that lets you browse the files that the Deluge is using remotely using WiFi. You can upload and download .WAV sample files as well as synths, kits, and songs. At the moment, functionality is minimal and installation isn't easy. I will soon be making available FlashAir cards with Downrush pre-installed.

The Downrush XML viewer can also run stand-alone (not needing a FlashAir card). This tool helps you to understand the contents of SONG, SYNTH, and KIT files by displaying piano-roll style displays of the notes in synth, kit, Midi, and CC tracks, as well as all the synth parameters in a tabular form. To make this easier to use, I created a Google Drive link which I update regularly as the software is improved.

New Downrush - with way to turn off Wifi radio to avoid interference
Due to popular demand, I created a feature for turning off the WiFi radio by clicking on a link. This is useful for eliminating RF interference which leaks from the FlashAir into the Deluge LINE-IN circuit. To use, look in the lower right hand corner of the File Explorer screen and click on the “Wifi Off” link. This will shut down the FlashAir card and you won’t be able to access Downrush until you eject the FlashAir card and reinsert it.
For this upgrade, download the downrush.zip file and unzip it. You will see a ‘distribution’ directory. Copy both the DR directory over onto your FlashAir card.

Downrush 1.0.1
Another downrush update. I fixed a feature that generates a summary of samples used in a song. This appears at the end of the song view.

Deluge Online Patch/Synth editor ( work in progress )
xmlView uses Handlebars templates. There is a huge one named sound_template that generates a 16 x 8 table showing the sound parameters in a matrix that follows the form of the Deluge shortcuts that are stenciled on most Deluges. There is a 'helper macro' call for each parameter that hints at the range and format of each parameter. The most common helper is fixh, which does the 0x80000000 to 0x7fffffff to 0-50 conversion described above.

Deluge Online Patch/Synth editor ( work in progress )
You can run the xml viewer without needing to buy a wireless card. It will run OK as a file://. I have a google drive folder with that part at: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1SG1q2yNHvdhnrghCDCM8-TdWAQdhFntq. As for hex values, there are a couple of different conversion formulas. Some of them go from -50 to +50, 0-50, 0-100, -32L to +32R (for panning). The patching system lets many of these values have greater resolution than what is shown on the display.
