MIDI controller assignment option to access the selected / edited track
I plan to set up a bank of external dials for faster editing of all sound parameters. While all controller assignments are currently directly tied to one specific track, it would be way more useful during the creation process if the assignments would follow the selected/edited track. There is probably need for both options, ideally in form of two independent maps for all assignments of a song which can be switched, one direct (e.g. for a performance to access specific parameters of different tracks), the other following the track focus (better for sound design during the composition process).

Custom Graphic LFO Waveforms
Why not use this beautiful button matrix to "draw" custom LFO waveforms? By holding the buttons of two adjacent columns simultaneously toggle between "smooth" and "stepped" transitions, indicated by different color.

Song view should work like Ableton Live's session view
I like the general idea, but suggest to keep the horizontal track orientation. This keeps the mute button column functional and avoids a 90° rotation of a project depending on the view. Let's rather provide a "super view" in which different 'versions' of a track (song sections) are represented by the horizontal buttons of a track – like in Bitwig or GarageBand iOS.

Self extending length record Mode
+1
It is equally important to create shorter tracks after having a recorded a longer one. This auto length recording mode should work both ways.
I also agree that the length should by default be quantised to whole bars. -
MIDI controller assignment option to access the selected / edited track
I like that wording! The Setting Menu should provide an addition:
MIDI > MAP > DIREct or FOCUsed
Perfect!

• a shape / symmetry parameter

@kleinstar @tacharonMidi Follow Mode with Midi Learning View
Master midi follow mode whereby after enabling the mode, you set a master midi follow channel and all midi (notes + cc’s) received on that channel will be directed to control the active view (e.g. arranger view, song view, audio clip view, instrument clip view).
Comes with a midi learning view to make learning and managing your midi cc's to the deluge's parameters a breeze.
Simple summary: Set a channel, set your Midi Controller(s) to the same channel, set a root note for your kits, learn your Midi CC's once and play and control the deluge instruments and parameters with ease!
No more re-learning your Midi controllers every time you start a new song, add new clips or change instrument presets.

That sounds f***ing brilliant!
Is that part of the "Amadeus" firmware release?
