I have firmware version 4.1.3, is there an official firmware upgrade from that or are the opensource firmware releases taking over?

i see 4.1.4 and downloaded it.
The opensource firmware has taken over and it's great. But a lot more key combos to remember.
i am about to dive into it. just wanted to be factory-updated first.
Try reading the docs first and if it's overwhelming, don't upgrade.
