Similar to Ableton Clip Mode, this provides an alternate ‘Song’ view which allows you to see multiple sections of the same clip all in one column, greatly increasing the amount of clips you can launch without scrolling.

Could you do audio clip recording and playback in this page too?
Having functionality like Ableton Push3 / Akai Force in my Deluge is my dream for years. Being able to collect quantised Deluge-sequenced or clock-synced loops from my other devices into the Deluge, with that kind of single touch workflow, would be amazing.
so does this mean a given Track's number of clips is constrained by the available colors for Deluge's Sections, e.g., eight shown on the audition row? this currently is a big limitation on Hapax -- only eight patterns available per track (effectively seven because it forces you to keep one blank pattern for muting in Song mode).
as hectic as keeping Sections straight over in Arranger mode can be, I appreciate being able to create multiple clips within a given Section color for a given Track because it allows for infinite variations without having to use a new Section
Yes right now displaying clips in grid is limited to 12 sections per track (scrollable). This is compatible with the current rows display. In Rows of course you can have multiple clips for the same track in the same section but in grid you will only see one of them unfortunately.
Extending sections was talked about but will be a bigger change that impacts rows display as well as being problematic to display with the available color range. This can improve in a future version though.
