Hi Everyone,
I wanted to be sure that may workflow ain't unnecessarily complicated. It's alla bout sampling which still is not that intuitive to me.
I want to sample from records, e.g. a guitar strum or anything like that and afterwards be able to play it at different pitches (i.e. transposing it).

What I do:
1. sampling into a new kit
2. trim start and end point of the sample
3. resample deluges output
4. load the sample into an new Synth clip, selecting "sample" as oscillator source

Is this the best way to do it or is there a shortcut after number 2 ??
Thanks!

You can skip a few steps by sampling directly onto a new synth using the rec shortcut. You can then use the waveform view to trim within the synth then you’re good to go. No need to resample then.

ah ok I thought the start trimming thing would only be possible in kits...
    thanks!
