Nice idea, could work really nicely on a glitch type of kit.
This is a great technique. Thanks for posting
Ha, nice!
Putting some of them in pairs on 1 of 2 / 2 of 2 to get some regular cycling patterns is also pretty rich, and would make the breakbeats slightly more predictable. Mix and match!
Love this, but I’m curious why record is enabled in the video?
Recording the audio on sd card for the video.

Why 60% on the main slices and 52% on the alternates? Just trying to understand this a little deeper
52 is just the kit preset name on screen, its unrelated to the conditional notes
.
There's 60% on the mains and 40% (in total - 10% each) on the alternates because 60 + 40 = 100%
When they add up like that, Deluge will only play one of the samples at a time per probability instance

Ok cool i couldn't tell what the alternates were set to... thanks again for the help!
Happy to be of assistance Btw, it might not have been clear in my previous comment - the alternates were specifically set to 10% each to be 40 in total.

Yes i teied this with a pretty busy jazz bassline sample and set the samples to 80/5% respectively for slightly less variation… this is a really rad trick!
tonight i will try
