How do we use it on the Deluge ?
Not. Unless the deluge supports it, you can't do or use the midi 2.0 spec on it.
So only in new supported hardware/software.
Only if developers decide to support it.
Currently the only one which is ready to support is the Roland A88 mk2.
Why no more products, even from Roland ? Maybe too much work ?!
ROLI has committed to supporting the MIDI 2.0 "MIDI-CI" standards moving forward.
Bitwig is prepared for it already.
Ableton is committed and has contributed directly to the standard.
The Steinberg VST 3.7 SDL includes MIDI 2.0
The rumor is Apple is way ahead on this already for Logic and it's entire AUv3 framework.
The EmbodMe Erae Touch ships in May 2021.
And so on.
It's coming, and coming "soon", but will take several years for it to be implemented across the entire gigantic industry.
