holding track or song button brings a loop region row in track and song view.

Ableton push and launchpad gold standard.
Holding shift turn the lower row in a time line on which you select the begining and end of the the loop region or determine the track lenght.
In song view, all tracks lenght and begining could be edited on ONE PAGE! 
Want a track of 4 measures?
Zoom out to 1th, shift + 1st and 4th button of lower row et voilà!
