Starting fresh song. Delete effects cursor follow

I'm a little dense but have looked when I start a fresh song and load a sample there are effects on the sample ie cutoff etc. How can I start fresh with no effects on my sample? Also when I load a sample osc 2 is always on in conjunction with the sample so I always have to turn it down? Can it just not be a 1 osc sample? Also is there a way to delete nob movements per track back to fresh start 0 once they've been moved. Loving this machine so far.
In realtime record is there an indicator on a four bar loop where the cursor is in the song so I know when to jump in... like a cursor up top that shows where in the loop I am even when I'm zoomed out on bar one and it's currently on bar 3? Cheers
