In song mode clips are not launching as they used to. Why?

Hi people, I ran into a problem lately. In song mode, when I try to launch or stop clips, they flash in the corresponding color (green or red), but when the next bar boundary is reached, they only start or stop sometimes.
I can work around this by holding Shift while launching a clip, which works, but it is not satisfactory.
I use the Deluge mainly for jamming with friends and I have been using it like that for years now. I haven't changed any settings. The problem occrued out the blue. I'm running firmware version C1.2.1.
It would be amazing, if you could help me to fix that!

so they are still flashinging if they didn't launch right? clips get launched based on the length of clips, so sometimes it waits for the longest clip to reach it's end before launching the next clip.
No, they stop flashing. They just go back to their status they where in before pressing them.
