FW 1.3 - MIDI learned SHIFT toggle does not work with learned instant MUTE

Hello, I have recently updated to Community firmware 1.3 as it seems to be stable enough and am glad I can now MIDI learn commands using CC as well as notes as I have an old foot controller which only transmits CC. I have MIDI learned some of the command functions successfully.

My main issue when setting up pedal control of the Deluge is that the pedal toggles SHIFT function ok on the device but when SHIFT is on I've found that using pedal-learned MUTE for a track totally ignores the SHIFT even though the SHIFT button's blue LED is lit, and I can't mute/unmute a track immediately as it always counts down to the end of the bar(s). It works as expected solely on the Deluge itself. I do not have the onboard SHIFT toggle set as I prefer it to not latch when using it without pedals, but I would like SHIFT latching for the foot pedal.

Does anyone know if this is a known issue? Am I reporting this to the right spot? I've no idea about github stuff or coding at all so hope this can be addressed at some point soon.
