Deluge ignoring loop tags/info in wav or aif samples

Hello,

is there any reason why Deluge completely ignores loop points in wav or aif samples? I used Preset Maker to generate the XMLs/presets for my own samples, it worked perfectly in terms of assignment etc., but loop points are completely ignored by Deluge (in waveform even I cannot see them), but they're present in the files.
I see the only synths/sampler presets looping on my Deluge are the ones with loop points specified in the XML, so is that the only way of doing so? The manual states Deluge can read loop points, but it doesn't (checked the files in many programs and and also in hex editor and they can all detect them.
