Convert kit/instrument clip to audio clip says cant

Im using 1.3 and the convert kit/instrument clip to audio clip says cant.
I also tried 1.1 and 1.2 and got the same result.

Im also noticing that trying to record a kit / instrument to an audio clip using TRACK is giving an inaccurate recording.

    you've never been able to convert a synth/kit/midi clip to an audio clip if there's already note data in the clip. if you want to make an audio clip it'll have to be an empty first.

    the second issue seems to be possibly the same as a bug i reported here: https://github.com/SynthstromAudible/DelugeFirmware/issues/3360
    lemme know if it's the same or a totally different bug
