Hi there, i'm trying to fing a solid setup midi/audio with few gears
While trying different things out i've discover my deluge had a midi channel 1A :open_mouth:
(i have an audio track in)

Does anybody could explain this to me?

    you can have multiple sub-MIDI tracks for any given MIDI channel.

    I don't really see the point of sub-midi tracks...

    the reason is that you may use a polyphony synth for midi 1. what if you have a B part for your polyphonic synth, that would be a clip for midi 1A, then if you have a chorus part for polyphonic synth then it would be midi 1B. it''s just different iterations of the same midi instrument

    i also get a lot of mileage out of it on my MPC, where i can "assign" different sample ranges of mutlimaps or loops to sub-channels on the same MIDI track. so 1A might be percussion samples, 1B might be a top loop clip, 1C might be a combination of the two.
