MIDI Machines/Definition Files/Presets

Hello

Some years ago I had the Squarp Pyramid and one of the best features was what it called "Definition Files".

Simply put, very simple text files (simple Notepad text doc) where users could map and name all their favourite external gear to be controlled with the Squarp Pyramid. The library grew very fast as it was very easy to make them, even if you didn't understand programming you would 'get it' when you opened someone's Definition File for a synth or drum machine.

It was something like:

NAME:TANZMAUS
OUT:A
CHANNEL:10
2:BD_ATT
64:BD_DECAY
65:BD_PITCH
3:BD_TUNE
4:BD_NOISE
5:BD_NOISE_DEC
6:BD_DIST
66:BD_TRIGGER
...

Check it out here: https://squarp.net/legacy/pyramid/manual/definitionfiles/

So after the ':' would be the name that you would assign to the midi controllable parameter of the external synth, and before the ':' would be the Midi CC number.

Has something similar been implemented in the community firmwares? If not, here I am suggesting it.

Best regards and thanks to all those who contribute with their time and knowledge!
