Importing Wav file from SD card to synth

Hi
I know this is a basic question. But how do I import a piano wav to use instead of the preset version. I can import it as a kit sample but obviously I want to play different notes with it...

    make a new synth and then hit shift+browse to find a sample. the osc1 type will become SAMPLE after you load in a .wav
