Update changes to patch across clips in grid mode?

I’m loving the community firmware especially grid mode but something that holds me back: while I’m working in grid mode: I make a change to a patch/kit in a clip, the change is not updated in other clips using the same patch/kit in the column, meaning I have to go back across all the other clips to make the same change. I thought I could save the patch/kit and then reload it in the other clips but that doesn’t work either. Is there a way to achieve this?

I think it might be intentionally done that way. For example, if you want one variant in the column to have different effect params. I do agree, though, that I typically just wish it would update across the column. Maybe a setting, or something the community dev's could somehow implement potentially?

any song that uses a preset stores the preset within the song as a unique version of it. because of this saving and reloading doesn't work as one may expect.

if you want to ensure a preset is consistent throughout a given column, then i would suggest going into the clip that has the changes you want, and saving it as brand new preset.
