Audio clip - Unable to set loop points

0

Hi, I'm using Deluge oled with community firmware Release - 1.1.1 (Beethoven) and I'm failing at creating loop points for audio waveforms.

I create an audio clip, pick the sample form the file and load it.
I click shift and waveform and go into waveform editing view, wehere I can see the green (start) and red (end) bars and move them.
I try to create loop points by holding the green bar and pressing in a ddifferent part of the waveform, or the red bar, but the loop start and loop end bars (Blue and Purple according to page 197 of the manual never appear. ( https://synthstrom-audible-deluge.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/Deluge-Guidebook-4p1-OLED.pdf)

Am I missing something? Was this option discontinued somehow??

(thanks for any help in advance)

loop points are available only outside of audio clips. so in a kit row or a synth clip's sample.

i would suggest using a kit clip ! if you want it to behave similarly to what you would've expected in an audio clip, make sure to make a drone note for that particular sample, so it can loop indefinitely while the track is launched.
