as far as has been communicated by synthstrom, the retrofit will be available indefinitely. if any changes occur, they would communicate it through social media/newsletter.
What's that retrofit addon?
the deluge used to have a red 7segment display. now deluges come with an OLED display that displays more information at once.
the retrofit service allows users with an older 7seg display to send their deluge in to remove the old display and get the OLED display to replace it.
