Songmode for Songs like Songs as Pattern in Songs

0

It would be good, if you could also arrange the songs in songs.
Then they would be a long patterns
with non-destructive automation and parameter states in Pattern.
Perhaps using the buttons in a row with inserts, copy and delete.

A kind of song mode over it for songs.

what features are you missing in arranger view that warrant a song mode in song views?

nothing missing per se but especially for live sets it would be better if we could create "Sets" that chain arranged songs in a seamless order (instead of having to load the next song on the fly)

    hy..
you all don't understand me: do you only know deluge?
the song mode is just a clip timeline but no real songmode

    take these songs as patterns:
    so:
verse verse bridge verse2 verse refrain
    01......01.....22........03.......01......10 ......
    just like in other grooveboxes

    the advantage:
    long patterns,
    non-destructive automation.,
save parameter state and different sounds,
    per pattern.

    that would be fantastic.

    greets bun

I think the confusion here comes from the naming of “song view / song mode” - it should really be named session view / session mode. A place meant for building inspiration, improvising and building the components of song, but not the place you arrange a song from start to finish.

Altho technically you could do that in session grid view using sections. Your song becomes a vertical arrangement.
