How do you save synth CC mappings globally when using an Akai MPK Mini Mk3 as a MIDI controller?

Hi, new Deluge user here. Apologies for any confusing wording below - I'm also new to MIDI...

I've figured out how to map control changes for a synth to various knobs on my Mini using the Learn function. I've also learned how to save these mappings to a particular synth on the Deluge. However, when I scroll to another patch, my mappings don't transfer - I need to re-map the knobs for each patch. Is there a way to set up global mappings so I can use the same knob controls for each patch without having to save each one individually?

If it's relevant, I'm running the Mini into the USB port and using a power supply for the Deluge.

I've tried loading my program settings into the MPK Editor app and then saving it as a program that can be loaded back into my controller, but that doesn't seem to do anything. Any insights would be appreciated!
