getting delay when going out into interface, but not in the headphones

So I have a weird issue. When I play a kick drum or synth etc everything is great using the headphone out. But using the L/R output is doubling the notes. I have checked to make sure there is no delay. It is strange to me that via the headphone output that it isn't there. Can anyone help me figure this out?
I am running stereo out L/R into ssl 12 interface using Ableton 11.
Everything worked great running into my interface yesterday, but now for some reason there is this weird delay where it plays the note twice for everything I play on the deluge which makes it unusable.
I am more than happy to upload a video if someone can tell me how to do that on this forum. I have one recorded as an example, but I can't find anyway to upload the short 6 second video to this forum.

Update: so Iām an idiot and it was a latency happening with my computer. Whew š š¤¦āāļø
