Make Deluge stop resampling at bar end instead of at loop end?

I absolutely love the resampling option on Deluge :)

According to the manual there are 3 ways to resample:

1)
RESAMPLING INSTANTLY
This option does not start and stop the recording to any bar/loop, so I rarely use it.

2)
RE-SAMPLING AT THE SAME TIME AS PLAY
This option is really great, since the recording will fit the number of bars in the longest loop currently on the deluge.

3)
RE-SAMPLING AT THE SAME TIME AS A VOICE PLAYS
Not very relevant to me since this option does not start and stop the recording to any bar/loop

I like option 2), but is there a way to make it stop recording at the next bar instead of by the end of the next loop end of the longest existing loop in the current song?

I know I can record audio on an audio track, but it's not usable since I cannot edit the start point of the recording afterwards.

Suggestions or workarounds are mostly welcome :)
