Found a Cheap Deluge Case Option

When I ordered my Deluge, cases were out of stock and now the shipping from NZ puts the nice new custom one into “can’t justify” territory. I had a devilishly difficult time finding a generic case of the right size but finally spotted this battery organizer on Amazon for only $31 CAD

It’s stiff and padded enough to provide decent protection, even when you remove the battery organizer bits. The Deluge fits in it snuggly. Unfortunately, I got a bit close to the net on the top cover when I was heat shrinking a cover for the zipper pull to prevent it from scratching, hence the little hole visible in the photo.

And now I have a place to use my commemorative LED pin!
