Looper in Grid Mode question

Hi, I´m trying to set up the grid mode so that if I press an empty button in a column that has Stereo Input, it will automatically record the input, and after pressing the button again, it will be looping. Is there a way or a workaround? Thank you!

i think the idea is grid mode will receive a red-mode button for recording-related needs for it's next update. i don't think what you're requesting is currently possible.
