Using Deluge as a MIDI Controller For Logic Pro X

Hi I would like to use my Deluge as a MIDI controller for my daw but I am having trouble syncing the deluge functions (play/pause, undo, tempo, etc) with Logic, is this possible? I'm also trying to figure out the MIDI syncing to get my deluge and DAW to play simultaneously, which I don't know too much about. Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
