I’m not sure if this has been requested before. I’m working on an ambient type of song which requires some long automation that reaches across multiple clips. Currently, as far as I’m know there’s only clip automation. For this song I’m looking for automation that lives on on the arrange view. Basically track automation that lives on the arrangement view level. Thanks for reading.

officially, i believe the only current way to do automation at the arranger level is to record it live

but with the new open source development, i know that automation has been put onto the grid at least at the clip level. not sure if they've also figured out how to add basically an automation track to arranger yet or not

It should be doable to create an automation lanes view as part of arranger. Adding it to instrument clips was really the first proof of concept.
