Record audio track with specific length "automatically" + a couple of other questions

Howdy all,

Is it possible to record an audio track with a specific length, say e.g. 64 bars and have deluge stop recording "automatically" without having to press the mute/audition button at any particular time?

Also, what is it that determines when recording stops on the next bar/4-bar/whatever when you press the mute/audition button?

Also, are there actually any disadvantages from recording directly into a kit as opposed to using audio tracks?

Also, at what page in the manual is the workflow of sidechaining on audio tracks (and on synth tracks for that matter) including routing to a specific parameter like volume or envelope explained? I can't seem to find it. Any link with a clear explanation would also be very welcome.

An answer on any of the above would be greatly appreciated <3
