Hey, this is about as non-musical as it gets here, but I just want to give a shoutout to using the Deluge as a controller.
I do embedded firmware for synths and stuff for a living. It's great that I can leave my Deluge on my desk during the day and use it as a controller to test things. I have other controllers I need to test with, of course, and it may not be perfect (no velocity sensitivity or whatever) but for what I need it for, it's perfect. File management lets me set up some test presets, I can use it to sequence tests, and so forth. And then when I take a coffee break, I can go back to making music.
