Is there something to toggle the "shift" button?

I would love to tweak some of the presets parameters wiht on hand while playing on a keyboard with the other hand. I'm already somewhat used to the shortcuts and would love to use them. Is there any way to toggle the "shift" button?

This is a good question. I don't have an answer but think the OP is awesome for asking.
Not a solution, but you can use the audition buttons + shortcut to replace using the shift button.
