Deluge + Bitmi drum pad ?

I recently got a Bitmi drum pad (https://bitmishop.com/) which seems to be working fine in Ableton but so far I haven't gotten it to work with the Deluge. I was wondering if anyone else has any experience with the Bitmi or other similar drum pads (with USB MIDI)?

  1. Plug in the Bitmi directly to the Deluge with a USB-C to B adapter
  2. Open a kit
  3. Hold learn + audition pad
  4. Tap the pad

The Deluge doesn't seem to notice it. When I plug in to my computer and load up Ableton, though, I'm able to see the MIDI notes coming in. Not sure how best to troubleshoot the issue, any help would be appreciated.

You need to provide DC power to Deluge for it to host USB-MIDI :)

If you want to do that in a portable way I'd recommend a powerbank + a Birdcord (USB to 9V DC):

Doh! Of course, I don't know why I didn't try this as well. Should be one of the first things to check :D Thanks @Icoustik
