Is there a function I have missed wich is almost the same than COPY and PASTE fonction ?

Because on these functions , you can COPY /PASTE only a portion of a sequence , depending on the zoom resolution you are at .

But it seems that CLEAR (push leftright button + undo/back) function like we erase the entire sequence and not just the screen we zoom in .
Any suggestions ?
