Not sure if any synth enables that although I think virus TI did.
This great sounding preset 162 (in case settings matter), notes pressed, keeps playing arpeggio. Ideally, changing preset would transform sound on the fly, i.e. without interupting the notes which are playing.
Especially important if any of the notes has a long cycle, i.e. won't play again for a while, in which case the preset change drops the context so to speak.
Is there a workaround to achieve this?
There is one but CPU intensive: two tracks with identical midi but different presets and crossfade the transition as both play.
