Strange behavior of the battery indicator

I suddenly experience a strange behavior of the battery indicator:
When the deluge is connected via usb the led is green.
When I remove the usb cable, the led still lights green briefly and then goes out completely.
But the Deluge still works on battery. Bought the deluge new in February 2022.
Any ideas?

EDIT:
This actually seems to be normal. I was mistaken in thinking that the indicator is yellow when the battery is still good. This is not the case. Probably an unexpected user error: :#
