Is it possible that there is an issue with my battery light?

Hi everybody,

I'm wondering if anyone knows about or has had similar issues with their battery light. Every since my original battery died, the two batteries I replaced it with can't seem to keep the low battery light from coming on? Despite the fact that I charged the unit for, at least, 8 hours the night before I went to play some beats today and the battery light shines red (low battery signal). I changed this batter no more than a year ago, could the battery be done so soon? Thoughts?
