I know that there are folders for synths and kits as of 4.0, but are there folders for songs?

    yep.
    either make folders on ur computer when ur SD card is plugged in to ur computer or u can type a folder name and HOLD save and an option to "Create" a folder appears. hit save again to confirm, NOW type in a title for ur song to save into the folder if u have a song to save, otherwise back out.
