Voice stealing / dropping - possible help

I've been experiencing the voice dropping problem in 4.0.1, weirdly after making a track, saving, powering off and re-opening - some voices are disappearing still. I found that it helped to delete all the unused rows in the kits I was using - the snare track, for example, was its own clip, but I was only using one row of a kit of 15 sounds or so. So I deleted the unused rows and now some of the voices have come back. Hope this helps somebody!
