Unusable samples

Hi there, I’ve had some difficulty importing samples and receiving an “unusable” error message on my deluge. For context the deluge is my first real synth/sampler and I don’t use a daw.

I’ve taken screen recordings of audio I wanted to sample on my iPhone, extracted the audio from LumaFusion. When I import to audioshare it says the samples are 16bit 44100hz wav files, though I’ve also tried 32000, 96000hz. Any advice as to why these files aren’t usable or how I might change what I’m doing?

The wav files types you describe should work fine with the Deluge. I’m not familiar with LumaFusion but I’m wondering if it’s doing anything else to the files that could cause an issue. I’d be happy to take a look at the files in question if you post a link to them here.

Also might be simpler in this case to get a line from the phone to Deluge and sample directly into it.
