USB Hub for FW 4.0 suggestions?

in Deluge Help
Hi folks, I posted this on FB but have't received any response. I purchased the Atolla USB 3.0 hub from Amazon that was previously recommended but it no longer works with FW 4.0. I was hoping that someone has found another model (3-4 port) that is working that they could recommend? Thanks! - Michael

I got this one from Amazon that works great! 4.0 friendly.

Thanks! I was starting to think no one had this issue!
No problem 👍🏼
Are you sure it's because the usb hub? Can you try connect a device that doesn't work directly to the deluge? For me, the torso T1 doesn't work on fw 4.0 either way..
Yes. The new Sabrent USB hub recommended by Too_Mere and linked to above solved my issues I'm back in business connecting my two midi controllers and my Microfreak to the Deluge at the same time.
Hey,
is there any usb hub, which powers the host as well?
I mean, its not ment to be that way, but we could maybe power the deluge and the devices via usb..
I found a thing called usb power injector, maybe this could work?
In order for the Deluge to host MIDI devices over USB the Deluge needs to receive power through its 9-12v input.
I was using the Atolla USB 3.0 with a 5V power supply in conjunction with a Myvolt ripcord

I'd run the rip cord out of the charging port on the USB hub. I went this route as it meant less power cables as the the hub supplies the Deluge power in addition to expanding your USB i/o. This worked really well and I didn't get ground loops which was my main worry. However I haven't run that set up for a bit so I'm just reading about it no longer working with v4
