Audition pads dont work always

I have my deluge now for well over a year and now the last 3 audition pads start working only intermittently. So sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.
As i don't want to send this in for service (akward enough for a short usage period like this) and wait for weeks to get it back, is there a way to clean / repair this myself?

It’s likely the contacts in the pads have gotten worn down.
Synthstrom sells replacement pads on their site for a reasonable price.
Lots of screwing and unscrewing but easy enough to do yourself.

Ok thank you.
It’s kind of strange for a unit to get worn down after only 1 year of usage in a clean/dustfree and all around caring environment.
Does this replacement void the warranty though?
I’m not 100% sure.
But the warranty period is only for one year. And you said you’ve had yours for over a year. So sounds like warranty is up anyway.
Alright, good to know. Thank you again for your help.
But again, why is this happening after only a year (1,5) to be exact?
I mean i had an ableton push for well over 6 years of very heavy use and it didnt even flinch.
So can i expect to change pads every year now?
Hard to say why. There can be many contributing factors. I had used mine heavily for about 4 years before needing to change mine.
Large velocity sensitive pads like that on the Push are quite different to compare to.
Alright, will order a couple of them to be fine for the foreseeing future.
